"I could not wait to discover the secret of recording their album. I was honored and overwhelmed by Beatles talent. "

Alan Parsons was also involved in the project called Apple rooftop session; the Beatles played a concert on the roof of the building, which housed the famous record label Apple Records.

"It was one of the most exciting days of my life. See Beatles playing together on the roof while watching surprised people passing by. Cameras were everywhere: on the street, across the street – it was unbelievable. “

Alan Parsons worked on preparations for the album The Dark Side of the Moon for Pink Floyd, for which it was first nominated for Grammy.

Later, Alan, along with Eric Woolfson, decided to create their own thematic records and thus was Alan Parsons Project. The project was designed as a forum for rotating collection of vocalists and players, among whom were, for example: Arthur Brown, ex-Zombie Colin Blunstone, Steve Harley of Cockney Rebel, Allan Clarke of The Hollies and guitarist Ian Bairnson.

The project debuted in 1976 with Tales of Mistery and Imagination. The collection was inspired by the creation of Edgar Allen Poe. Similar story was a science fiction of Isaac Asimov, as a raw material for the following I Robot from 1977. After the success of later Pyramids in 1978, Alan moved to Monaco. This has affected the album The Turn of a Friendly Card, a meditation on gambling, recorded in Paris 1980th. Two hits from this album, Games People Play and Time scored in the TOP 20. His hit 1982 Eye in The Sky was located between the first three points of the charts. Successful albums followed - Ammonia Avenue (1984), from which comes his most famous hit "Do not answer me. Later the album Vulture Culture (1985), Stereotomy (1986) and Gaudi (1987).

Later on Eric’s and Alan’s ways split. Alan focused on live production and kept recording the conceptual, symphonic rock. His live performances improved Ringo Starr, Yes, Kansas, Alice Cooper, John Entwistle and Ann Wilson.

Familiar is his Sirius project, though it’s better known as a jingle of the U.S. basketball team Chicago Bulls. This music cited numerous times during NBA games. P. Daddy chose Sirius as the background for the title song of his hit best selling album The Saga. Sirius was also used for documentary film about Michael Jordan.

Recently, Alan formation develops in a different direction to the world of electronic music. On his last album A Valid Path collaborates with guitarist David Gilmour of Pink Floyd.
