Scooby Doo will make you laugh later. Let us inform you about cancelled performances of Scooby Doo and the Pirate Ghost in Ostrava (27. 4.) and Prague (30.4.,1.5.). Because of tragedy in Poland (10. 4.) and because of the sorrow in this country the tour had to be stopped and it means preparation in Czech republic has to be adapt to this situation as well. We are really sorry for complication. But you will not miss the show!! The tickets are still valid – new terms will be shown on Makroconcert website as soon as possible!

Famous Mystery gang arrives to Czech Republic! Popular talking dog Scooby-Doo and his friends Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma get on the road for the pirates treasure. The most popular characters from the Hanna-Barbera studio will perform live on the stage and in Prague Congress Center and Ostrava Sareza Arena. Unforgettable combination of thrill, adventure and great humor as well as offering a meeting with ghosts! Scooby Doo and the spirit of the pirate is a great show for only for children.

Show Scooby Doo and the Pirate ghost is based on the popular series of workshops studio Hanna-Barbera. The famous talking dog and his gang move from the big screen to the stage in all its glory, to perform for the Czech audience. Although Scooby-Doo is the most easily scared dog in the world, he goes with his friends on an adventurous journey for pirate treasure! Cartoon characters Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne and Fred come to life, first on April 27, 2010 in Ostrava Sareza Arena, and then move to the Prague Congress Center, where they perform three times on 30^th of April and 1^st of May 2010.

From the big screen on the stage
The cartoon Scooby-Doo was first screened in 1969 and since then enjoyed the lasting popularity. Although the show came to the Czech Republic after the revolution, it’s the second generation of the smallest growing up on it. Series for the decades gradually took over the biggest television channels such as CBS or ABS.

The producers keep the series going and currently the viewers of Cartoon Network and Boomerang channels in the USA and other countries can enjoy new adventures of the Mystery gang.  Over the years, friends Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and the talking dog Scooby-Doo take on different forms. But when the producers of the show Scooby Doo and the Pirate Ghost converted the characters into a theater form, they tried to keep as much of their original authenticity.

There was a lot of work with the sound. The director Jim Millan had courage to dust off the 30 years old records and use them in his work. Original orchestral recordings of the television series Scooby-Doo digitized audio masters and put them into the new design. Music is completely synchronized with what's happening on stage, with every detail and movement.

Scooby-Doo entertained generations. His show can entertain not only the three-year-old children but also teenagers and adults. Performance certainly appeals not only to the smallest ones but also their parents, who grew up in a popular cartoon series, and children who will meet Scooby-Doo for the first time.

SCOOBY
The most easily scared dog in the world, he can be scared even by his own shadow. It is very fast, excellent in disguises and is able to prepare the best sandwiches. He learned to speak, is a master of pantomime and gesticulation. He has a large family and almost everywhere is reaching its relatives. The only thing he wants from his friends is biscuits

SHAGGY
Always scared Scooby’s best friend. Both Shaggy and Scooby-Doo are readily bribed with Scooby Snacks due to their nearly insatiable appetites, and have tendencies toward goofing off and cowardice. Shaggy often wears all kind of weird costumes. He is lanky, with shaggy brown hair and a rough goatee, and typically wears a green T-shirt and brown bell-bottoms. That makes him the funniest character right after Scooby.

FRED
Fred is the leader of the Mystery Gang. He is the strongest and the bravest of all the characters. Always gets all his friends out of trouble with unusual inventions. Works as a delivery driver and constantly invents all sorts of traps

DAPHNE
Gets in trouble all the time, but uses her fashion accessories cleverly: purse, mirror and even lipstick. She is fast, clever and pretty. Loves the secrets and mysteries. Has a weakness to Fred.

VELMA
The youngest, but also the smartest of the whole party. Can deal with the most complicated puzzle. Her favorite color is orange. Her typical feature is the thick glasses that always get lost. Due to her intelligence she comes to the most interesting tracks. Probably speaks all languages in the world.
