Londoner Seal, popular singer, lyricist and composer, multiple awarded Grammy winner, appeared on the British house scene at the beggining of 90. years with his hit "Killer". Then followed single "Crazy" and ebthusiastic response from critics and listeners. His four commercially succesfull albums present a fusion of soul, pop, rock and R&B.
Now Seal is coming to Prague, where he will introduce his newest album „System“, released in cooperation with British musician and composer Stuart Prince, co-author of Madonna’s Confessions on a Dancefloor album, author of remixes for No Doubt and Coldplay.
Album System is full of strong melodies, which will thrill you. Synth beats interweave with acoustic guitars and from time to time are roughtened with these electric ones. „I decided to come back to guitar, as my first instrument, for that I composed hits Crazy and Killer, then to roots of my creation.“ Essential ingredients of Seal‘s fusion didn’t change, only proportion between soul, pop, rock and rhythm’n’blues is changed. Seal is still himself and his fragile soul is still inimitable. Hits from System have just gained the first places on Czech hit parades!
Seal’s music has undeniable artistic value, what is not very common for pop artists. Seal owes his succes to his composer talent, amazing voice and especial music sensitivity. Moreover, his lyrics are not only a banal supplement to music. All this facts make Seal one of the best contemporary pop musicians. Seal’s a little raucous voice, distinctive earmark that promoted his biggest hits like: “Prayer for the Dying,” “Kiss From a Rose,” or “Don’t Cry”, on his new album multiplies dreamlike atmosphere in compositions: “Swoosh,” “Amazing” and “Wedding Day,” emotional ballade, which Seal composed just after marrying supermodel, Heidi Klum, mother of his three children.
