Makroconcert is the largest Eastern and Central European-based promoter

Over 12 years ago, a group of young and dynamic individuals were brave enough to realize their dream of starting a concert promotion business in Lithuania - a young post-Soviet country with uncertain market conditions and a lack of experience with Western culture and artistic tastes due to years of imposed isolation. As the country moved towards becoming a modern business center and major tourist destination, Makroconcert’s talented team of energetic professionals - through their hard work and business acumen - were able to successfully turn the company into a dynamic agency with a proven track record of strategic event planning in just a few years.

 

Currently, the company is a leader among the Eastern and Central European-based promoters. Makroconcert promotes concerts in six European countries with an audience of about 60 million. The company’s offices in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Kaliningrad, Poland and the Czech Republic employ a workforce of 70 talented, highly motivated individuals. Moreover, Makroconcert cooperates with major agencies in Russia (Moscow and St. Petersburg) and Ukraine. There are plans for further growth and expansion into other perspective markets in the next coming years.

Our events:

Over the last few years Makroconcert promoted such outstanding artists as Elton John, Seal, Billy Idol, Patricia Kaas, Vanessa Mae, Cesaria Evora, Robert Plant, Branford Marsalis, Vonda Shepard, Reamonn, Def Leppard, The Prodigy and many more.

From the beginning we are expanding with great potential in family entertainment sector. Some of the shows that Makroconcert has already presented to the markets include Holiday on Ice, the Yamato Drummers, David Copperfield, and World and Olympic champion figure skating performances.

 

To showcase work by prominent artists, Makroconcert has also founded the privately-owned Domino Theatre. In addition, the company works with projects involving well-known theatre ensembles from abroad and with events held in Latvia and Estonia (and Poland next year). Also, the company has recently started to promote international exhibitions: in 2007 Makroconcert has successfully completed a test run by promoting the Barbie World & Lego exhibition in Poland and Lithuania.

 

Makroconcert has promoted 2.000 rock, pop, classical and jazz projects, family shows, exhibitions and other events over the last 12 years.  In 2006 alone  Makroconcert's events has visited more than 500,000 spectators.
